Resource Center

The Resource Center located at North Country Career Center is designed to meet the needs of individual students who may need assistance academically. Students who are enrolled in a Career Center class are entitled to services from The Resource Center throughout the school year. The services can include tutoring regarding their classroom work, collaborating with their teachers to determine current and past assignments, determining their current standing in their classes involving grades, homework, and expectations, and meeting with parents to discuss existing issues or future placements. The Resource Center Instructor also attends meetings arranged by case managers or guidance counselors to provide input on their students' present levels of functioning. It is important that The Resource Center Instructor be a vital part of the students' teams to promote success with their high school careers.

Not only does The Resource Center offer students assistance with their academic needs, it is also a fully equipped computer lab. Instructors from the Career Center can sign out the computer lab to reinforce their instructional materials along with encouraging the students to utilize the current technology to prepare them for the world of work.
